Abstract
Diplomsko delo Literarna analiza Schönwerthovih in Grimmovih pravljic na osnovi Lüthijeve literarne teorije je sestavljeno iz dveh delov. Na začetku teoretičnega dela je na kratko predstavljena splošna teorija pravljice in njene definicije. V osrednjem delu je podrobna predstavitev življenja in dela Franza Xaverja von Schönwertha, njegova samostojna dela ter opis zbirke Schönwerthove pravljice. Sledi ji predstavitev otroštva, šolanja in dela Jacoba in Wilhelma Grimm ter njunega načina zbiranja pravljic. Na koncu pa je še poglavje o Maxu Lüthiju in njegovem delu Evropska pravljica: forma in narava, ter podrobnejša predstavitev petih značilnosti modela ljudskih pravljic. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela je narejena analiza treh Schönwerthovih pravljic (Pepelčica, Kralj Zlatolas, Ključavnica) in treh Grimmovih pravljic (Pepelka, Sneguljčica, Janko in Metka) glede na literarno teorijo Maxa Lüthija. Cilj diplomske naloge je primerjati tri Grimmove in tri Schönwerthove pravljice ter ugotoviti, ali se med njimi pojavijo podobnosti in razlike glede na značilnosti literarne teorije Maxa Lüthija.

Title:Literary Analysis of Schönwerth's and Grimm's Fairy Tales Based on Lüthi's Literary Theory
Abstract:
The thesis Literary analysis of Schönwerth's and Grimm's fairy tales based on Lüthi's literary theory consists of two parts. At the beginning of the theoretical part, the general theory of the fairy tale and its definitions are briefly presented. The central part contains a detailed presentation of the life and work of Franz Xaver von Schönwerth, his independent works, and a description of the collection of Schönwerth's fairy tales. It is followed by a presentation of childhood, schooling and work of Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm and their approach to collecting fairy tales. Finally, there is a chapter on Max Lüthi and his work The European Fairy Tale: Form and Nature, and a more detailed presentation of the five features of the folktale model. In the empirical part of the thesis contains an analysis of three Schönwerth's fairy tales (Cinderella, Goldilocks, The Locksmith) and three Grimm's fairy tales (Cinderella, Snow White, Hansel and Gretel) is made according to the literary theory of Max Lüthi. The objective of this thesis is to compare three Grimm's fairy tales and three Schönwerth's fairy tales and to determine whether there are similarities and differences between them according to the characteristics of Max Lüthi's literary theory.
