The result of the thesis will be used to review and optimize SQL scripts
that work with big data, especially for companies that deal with business
intelligence, more precisely expanding the functionality of Microsoft’s Microsoft Dynamics AX and NAV programs. As part of the process, data is
processed and processed only in three main areas: Stage, Datawarehouse and
analytics. SQL scripts are used for processing. My job will be to record the
execution time and number of entries per time for each of these scripts. I will
bring this data into Power BI, where I will display it by category. It will be
necessary to have a good understanding of the Dynamics platform and the
company’s needs for an optimal report in terms of the tables used and optimal visualization by category. The task will significantly help with a quick
review of the execution history of these scripts, as this will make it easier to
determine whether a script is not working correctly or whether it needs some
optimization, and it will also be possible to see where the processing failed
or which tables were not processed.
