Abstract
Ustna higiena je pomemben del zdravstva in obsežno področje, na katerem je vedno mogoče vpeljati nove metode ali izboljšati že poznano tehnološko znanje. Prisotnost laserske tehnologije v zdravstvu je postala nekaj vsakdanjega. Ta tehnologija je zanimiva, saj z vidika uporabe omogoča precej širok spekter dodelav, ki omogočajo, da en stroj uporabimo v različne namene. S pomočjo raziskovalnega dela smo opazovali, kako oblika obzobnega žepka, ki ga želimo čistiti, vpliva na pojav kavitacije, ki je posledica laserskega bliska v tekočini. V ta namen smo uporabili bliskovni laser tipa Er: YAG z valovno dolžino 2940, trajanjem 25 µs in energijo do 20mJ. Preko poizkusov smo poizkušali odkriti najprimernejše pogoje, da je proces kavitacije za naše potrebe najboljši. V ta namen smo raziskali vplive energije, časovnega poteka in premera vlakenske konice na tvorbo kavitacije.

Title:Development of a periodontal model for laser tooth wall cleaning research
Abstract:
Oral hygiene is an important part of healthcare and an extensive field in which it is always possible to introduce new methods or improve existing technological knowledge. The presence of laser technology in healthcare has become an everyday thing but this technology is interesting because it can be used in a fairly wide range of usage. Thus, we assure many different operations with only one machine. Through the research work, we observed how the shape of the dental pocket that we want to clean affects the phenomenon of cavitation which is the result of a laser flash in the liquid. It is already known that different types of laser flashes are used for different interventions regarding oral hygiene. Through the experiments, we tried to discover the most suitable conditions so that the cavitation process is the best for our needs.
