Abstract
Zavzetost in motivacija zaposlenih sta odločilna dejavnika in konkurenčna prednost na trgu. Podjetja, ki želijo zavzete in motivirane zaposlene, morajo poiskati način, kako bolje upravljati človeške potenciale, da dosežejo njihovo maksimalno angažiranost k skupnim ciljem. V magistrskem delu proučujemo stopnjo zavzetosti zaposlenih in dejavnike motivacije v dveh glavnih poklicnih skupinah, ki smo jih oblikovali v izbrani organizaciji.

Title:
Comparison of employee engagement and motivation by occupational group in company x
Abstract:
Employee engagement and motivation are determining factors and a competitive advantage on the market. Companies that want engaged and motivated employees need to find ways to better manage their human potential to achieve their maximum level of engagement towards common goals. In the master's thesis, we examine the level of employee engagement and motivation factors in the two main occupational groups we have formed in the selected organisation. In theoretical part, the central concepts of employee engagement and motivation are presented in detail from the perspective of work organisation and employees. In that part we also defined occupational groups on the basis of which we compared the two concepts in the selected organisation. The empirical part is based on research we had conducted with a survey questionnaire in the selected organization. The key findings are that employees in the occupational group of white-collar workers are more engaged than employees in the professional group of blue-collar workers. Regarding the motivational factors, we found that the main motivating factor for white-collar workers is related to salary and other financial benefits, while the biggest motivator for blue-collar workers is commendation for a job well done.
