Abstract
Diplomsko delo Otroci iz skupine Muzikalčki spoznajo čebele in čebelarstvo obravnava pristope, kako otrokom v vrtcu učinkovito predstaviti pomen čebel in čebelarstva. Ker so čebele vedno bolj ogrožene in ker se njihovo število zmanjšuje, je zelo pomembno, da že v predšolskem obdobju ozavestimo otroke o ustreznem ravnanju s čebelami in odnosu do čebel ter o njihovem pomenu za preživetje rastlin ter posledično tudi za naše preživetje. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz dveh delov – teoretičnega in empiričnega. V prvem delu teoretičnega dela so opredeljeni pojem družbe in vključevanje posameznika v družbo ter pomen povezovanja vrtcev z lokalnim okoljem. Na začetku drugega dela teoretičnega dela je predstavljena panoga čebelarstvo. Sledi prestavitev čebelje družine, njene zgradbe, pomena opraševanja za naše okolje ter rojilnega razpoloženja čebel. Na koncu je posredovanih še nekaj informacij o čebelnjaku in čebeljih produktih. Drugi del diplomskega dela je empiričen. V tem delu so predstavljene štiri dejavnosti, ki sem jih izvajala v vrtcu VVE pri OŠ Žiri v kombinirani skupini otrok, starih 2–4 leta. Prek dejavnosti so otroci pridobili določena znanja o čebelah in čebelarstvu. Za vsako dejavnost je na koncu zapisana še evalvacija.

Title:Children from the Muzikalčki Group Learn about Bees and Beekeeping
Abstract:
This paper, titled Children from Muzikalčki Group Learn about Bees and Beekeeping, studies approaches on how to effectively present to preschool children the importance of bees and beekeeping. As bees are increasingly endangered and their numbers are decreasing, it is very important to make children in the preschool period aware of appropriate handling of bees and their relationship towards bees as well as their importance for plant survival and, consequently, our survival. This paper comprises two parts, a theoretical one and an empirical one. The first section of the theoretical part defines the terms of society and one’s integration into society as well as the importance of integration of preschools into the local environment. At the beginning of the second section of the theoretical part, beekeeping is presented. This is followed by a presentation of a bee colony, its structure, the importance of pollination for our environment and bee swarming. The theoretical part concludes with additional information on beehives and bee products. The second part of the paper is empirical. It presents four activities that were performed in the Žiri Preschool of the Žiri Primary School, in a combined group of children aged from two to four years. By participating in the activities, the children acquired certain knowledge about bees and beekeeping. In the end, evaluation is written down for each activity.
