The master thesis presents the simulation of two-component two-phase systems in a flat microfluidic channel. Theoretical simulations were performed based on the Shan-Chen model of the lattice Boltzmann method. The optimisation of the system parameters was performed at the beginning. This was followed by the validation of the interactions of the individual phases and the confirmation of the immiscibility of the components. Additionally, a third component was added to serve as a passive solvent. With the implementation of the solvent, the influence of the interaction parameter on the solvent diffusion itself was observed.
