The thesis presents the project of the inertization chamber automation. The main focus of the work is on the programming of the inertization chamber functionality and the description of the user interface (HMI) functionality for its management and control. Key steps in the Tia Portal software environment and features of the ISA-88.01 standard are also mentioned.
The first part of the thesis describes the ISA-88.01 standard, according to which I programmed the functionality of the inertization chamber. The basic building blocks and its features are mentioned here.
The second part describes the basic steps in the Tia Portal programming environment, such as creating a project, the functionality of the environment and the basics of PLC programming.
The third part describes the programming of HMIs in the Tia Portal programming environment. The key building blocks to complete the functionality of the user interface (HMI) are mentioned here.
The fourth part describes the inertization chamber device and its functionality. Here, the emphasis is mainly on the programming of the device’s functionality and on the description of its individual functionalities. The elements of the inertization chamber are also described.
The fifth part describes the functionality of the user interface (HMI) that I created for the management and control of the inertization chamber.
