Abstract
V magistrskem delu je predstavljena optimizacija rezalnih parametrov ob izbiri ustreznega frezala. Glavni cilj optimizacije je doseganje čim krajših časov obdelave pri najmanjši hrapavosti obdelane površine. Obdelovanec je aluminijeva zlitina serije 6000 z oznako EN-AW 6005. Magistrsko delo opisuje lastnosti obdelovanega materiala, obdelovalnega stroja in specifikacije uporabljenih frezal. Predstavljeni so postopki zasnove eksperimenta, merjenje hrapavosti, analiza dobljenih podatkov in optimizacija rezalnih parametrov. V magistrskem delu smo s pomočjo metode načrtovanja eksperimentov ugotavljali optimalne rezalne parametre na primeru treh frezal različnih proizvajalcev. Z analizo dobljenih rezultatov eksperimenta smo ugotovili, katero frezalo zagotavlja največjo produktivnost pri najmanjši hrapavosti površine. Za dobljene rezultate optimizacije smo izračunali stroške obdelave in jih primerjali s stroški pred optimizacijo.

Title:The optimal choice of milling cutter when machining 6000 series aluminum alloys
Abstract:
The master's work presents the optimization of cutting parameters when choosing the appropriate milling cutter. The main goal of optimization is to achieve the shortest possible processing times with the smallest roughness of the processed surface. The workpiece is an aluminum alloy of the 6000 series with the designation EN-AW 6005. The master's thesis describes the properties of the processed material, the processing machine and the specifications of the milling cutters used. The procedures for designing the experiment, measuring the roughness, analyzing the obtained data and optimizing the cutting parameters are presented. In the task, the optimal cutting parameters using the method of designing experiments on the example of three milling cutters from different manufacturers we determined. By analyzing the obtained results of the experiment, milling cutter that provides the greatest machinability with the smallest surface roughness were determined. For the obtained optimization results, the processing cost were calculated and compared with the costs before optimization.
