Abstract
Magistrska naloga pojasnjuje načrtovanje visokozmogljivih uporabniških vmesnikov za nadzor in vodenje procesov. Sestavljena je iz teoretičnega in praktičnega dela. Teoretični del vsebuje situacijsko ozaveščenost ter predstavi težavnost njenega razumevanja. Opisana je s tremi različnimi modeli. ki omogočajo umeščanje situacijske ozaveščenosti v različne situacije. Predstavimo naravo situacijske ozaveščenosti in ključne spremenljivke, ki vplivajo nanjo. V nadaljevanju opišemo pomembne cilje in težave uporabniških vmesnikov, s katerimi se sooči inženir pri izdelavi. Predstavljena sta filozofija in visokozmogljivi principi, s katerimi dosežemo visokozmogljive uporabniške vmesnike, in opisani so koraki za izdelavo uporabniških vmesnikov. Predstavljen je standard ANSI/ISA-101.01-2015, ki zagotavlja standardiziran način izdelave vmesnikov. Predstavljene so vzporednice med standardom in visokozmogljivim načrtovanjem. V zaključku je izvedena analiza vmesnika z metodo, ki je bila razvita v Veliki Britaniji s strani Health and Safety Executive, s katero preverjamo prisotnost visoko zmogljivih lastnosti vmesnika na realnem primeru.

Title:
Design of high-performance user interfaces for process control and supervision
Abstract:
In this master degree final project we explain how to design high performance human machine interfaces to control systems and processes. It is separated to theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part we explain what situational awareness is and why it is very hard to understand a concept. We represent three models that are in use for describing situational awareness and applicability to real life situations. In further description we are explaining what kind of nature situational awareness has and what are most important variables that help increase situational awareness. We are also focusing on high performance human machine interface and explaining what goals engineer should have in order to achieve it. We describe philosophy and principles that lead engineers toward high performance human machine interfaces and provide step by step solution to achieve it. We provide key insights of ANSI/ISA 101.01-2015 standard and describe parallels between standard and high performance philosophy and principles. Toward the end we are describing how to analyse human machine interface with a method that was created in the United Kingdom by an organization named Health and Safety Executive. To support statements we have analysed the human machine interface that is used in real industrial environment and confirm or deny presents of high performance attributes.
