The thesis describes traditional and agile project management, as well as a comparison of both methods of project management. In addition to some of the main methods used in project management, the theoretical part also describes the comparison and use of agile and traditional methods. The purpose of the thesis is to identify the advantages and disadvantages of various project management methods used in traditional and agile project management and combinations (so-called hybrid models) of these methods. In the theoretical example, an example of activities on a construction site is discussed, where the use of concurrent engineering, which is a traditional management method, and the Scrum method, which belongs to the methods of agile project management, are compared. The aim of the thesis is a descriptive and graphic presentation of the differences in the use of different project management methods, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of certain management methods.
