Abstract

Title:Graphic Matrix in the Expanded Field / Distortion of the Body
Abstract:
The structure of the theoretical part in the master's thesis consists of two sections. The first defines basic concepts and phenomena that problematize the identity of the graphic matrix. The second, however, is based on methods in formulating matrices, which I classified based on the idea of a graphic matrix in the extended context. In the theoretical analysis of my practical work, I present graphic series that are made in drypoint technique, etching, lithography and digital printing. My graphic expression is based on classical graphic techniques, which I combine by using digital tools. Therefore, the main emphasis will be placed on the last graphic series, where I have combined both analogue and digital graphic media.
