Abstract
V izdelani barvni karti so različne barve in odtenki bombažne tkanine, npr. roza, rumena, siva, zelena.

Title:Dyeing of cotton fabric with staghorn sumac drupes dye and production of textile products
Abstract:
The purpose of this diploma work was to create a colour chart for dyeing cotton fabrics with staghorn sumac dye. The material was dyed using the shibori technique, with dye recipes selected from the colour chart. The water extract was prepared from the drupes of staghorn sumac, an invasive alien plant. Untreated and pretreated cotton fabric samples used in the colour chart were dyed at three different concentrations (40, 80 and 120 g/l) and two pH values (neutral and basic). Ferrous sulphate and copper sulphate were used as mordants for pretreatment of the fabric. The colour chart includes different colours and shades of pink, yellow, grey and green. The higher the concentration of the plant material used to make the extract, the stronger and darker the colours become. The shibori techniques used to dye textiles were kumo, itajime and kanoko. The textiles were cut and sewn into practical and decorative textile products, wallets, waist bag and decorative pillows in the shape of a cat silhouette.
