In indoor environments, aerosol concentration is associated with human activity, ventilation, and air cleaning. An infection with a disease can be a consequence of aerogenic transmission of pathogenic aerosols. We evaluated the ratio between the concentration of endogenous and exogenous particles during physical activity. We analyzed various measurement scenarios where the variables represent the presence and absence of ventilation, air cleaning, and human activity. We demonstrate the increase in the concentration of endogenous aerosols during physical activity and the effectiveness of natural ventilation and air purification.
