Razvoj spletne aplikacije za podporo komunikacije z mentorjem pri izdelavi diplomskega dela

Diplomska naloga predstavlja razvoj spletne aplikacije Diplomko za oddajo diplomskega dela, ki pomaga pri reševanju številnih problemov s katerimi se srečujejo tako mentorji kot študenti pri obdelavi, pregledu in ocenjevanju diplomskih nalog. Mentorji se največkrat srečujejo s problemom pregleda podatkov študentov pod svojim mentorstvom, problemom dostopa do kontaktnih podatkov študenta za posamezno delo in pregledov nad sprotnimi popravki diplomskega dela posameznega študenta. Študenti se srečujejo predvsem s problemom komunikacije, saj nimajo direktnega pregleda nad statusom svojega diplomskega dela in lahko z uporabo obstoječih komunikacijskih rešitev kakšno informacijo spregledajo ali izgubijo. Mentorji in študenti trenutno največkrat komunicirajo s pomočjo e-pošte. Cilj razvoja spletne aplikacije Diplomko je centralizirati in poenostaviti komunikacijo med mentorjem in študentom, omogočiti pregled podatkov študentov in njihovih diplomskih nalog, ter možnost ocenjevanja diplomskih del znotraj spletne aplikacije Diplomko. Za izdelavo čelnega dela spletne aplikacije Diplomko je uporabljeno ogrodje Next.js, kateri je integriran s programskim jezikom TypeScript in oblikovan s pomočjo ogrodja Tailwind CSS. Čelni del komunicira z zalednim delom preko vmesnika API, kateri za podatkovno bazo uporablja orodje Prisma.

• Title: The Development of Web Application to Support the Communication with Mentor

Abstract

The thesis presents the development of the website application called Diplomko for thesis submission, which helps to solve many problems faced by both mentors and students in the processing, review, and evaluation of theses. Mentors are most often faced with the problem of reviewing the data of students under their supervision, the problem of accessing student contact details for a particular thesis, and the problem of reviewing the online corrections of a particular student's thesis. Students are mainly confronted with the problem of communication, as they do not have a direct overview of the status of their thesis and may overlook or lose information using existing communication solutions. Currently, mentors and students communicate mostly by e-mail. The aim of the development of the Diplomko website application is to centralize and simplify the communication between mentor and student, to provide an overview of students' data and theses, and to allow the possibility of grading theses within the Diploma web application. The front-end of the Diplomko website application is built using the Next.js framework, which is integrated with the TypeScript programming language and designed using the Tailwind CSS framework. The front-end communicates with the back-end via an API, which uses the Prisma tool as its database.
