This thesis presents the development of a mobile application prototype, the purpose of which is to improve mobility with the help of rides sharing. With the latter, car drivers share their vehicle with others and thus reduce their consumption costs. Shared rides can also be useful for those who do not have their own cars and for whom public transport does not provide enough flexibility. By sharing rides, we are also more ecological and environmentally friendly traffic participants. The advantages of shared rides are: lower fuel costs, shorter travel time, flexibility and environmental friendliness.
