The aim of this thesis was to study the level of satisfaction of the citizens with the municipality of Gorenja vas - Poljane. As a self-governing local authority established to safeguard the interests of the population in a given territory, it is important to consistently monitor the quality of services they provide and the satisfaction of citizens with said services. To this end, a survey was designed and carried out, the main purpose of which was to assess the general satisfaction of citizens with the functioning of Gorenja vas – Poljane Municipal Administration, and also to identify which areas could be given more attention. The survey found that the majority of citizens are neither satisfied nor dissatisfied with the performance of the municipal administration, with average scores for individual questions hovering around this level. Only the evaluation of the Mayor's performance showed a slightly higher level of satisfaction, with the majority of citizens being satisfied with the Mayor's performance. We also found that people are most satisfied with the education sector, and least satisfied with the road infrastructure sector, which they think should receive the most attention in the future. The analysis also found that citizens were satisfied with the municipality's performance so far.
