Abstract
Sledi interpretacija izsledkov analize in nazadnje predstavitev rezultatov.

Abstract:
The master's thesis focuses on the analysis of the written expression tasks within the Slovenian national matura exam as well as their evaluation for the subjects Spanish and Italian as foreign languages (FL). The theoretical part initially presents the concept of communicative competence, paying more attention to the skill of written expression, the writing process and the evaluation of written compositions. Furthermore, the concept of matura and the written production tasks that appear in this exam are presented. The last essential section of the theoretical part is devoted to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and its Companion Volume, which represent the fundamental basis for learning and teaching FL. It covers the definitions of pragmatic competence, written production and written interaction, including illustrative descriptors for language proficiency levels B1 and B2. The empirical part of the master's thesis consists of qualitative research, divided into two parts. The first part is dedicated to the evaluation of the written production tasks in the national matura exam, comparing the evaluation criteria of the Spanish exam with the Italian criteria. In addition, it presents in more detail the Written evaluation table, proposed by the Companion Volume of the CEFR. The second part (which is the central part) incorporates the analysis of twelve matura tasks from each of the subjects, taking in consideration four different areas: instructions, topic, text type and level of FL proficiency. Subsequently, the interpretations
