Abstract
Razvoj interneta in njegov prihod v naša gospodinjstva v 90. letih prejšnjega stoletja je naša življenja obrnil tako rekoč na glavo. Številne spremembe, ki jih je prinesel, in posledično vedno večja digitalizacija pa so vplivali tudi na način spoznavanja partnerjev in partnerk. Razvoj spletnih portalov in aplikacij je vsaj v teoriji pomenil lažje spoznavanje partnerjev za ljudi, ki imajo v resničnem svetu težavo pristopiti do nekoga, ki jim je všeč, pogosto pa tudi dodatno možnost za tiste, ki v vsakdanjem življenju s tem nimajo težav. Tovrsten način spoznavanja je sicer pomenil tudi novo ustvarjanje identitet, večji pomen samopredstavitve, najverjetneje pa tudi spremembe v sferi intimnosti. Magistrsko delo analitično opisuje značilnosti oglasov na največjem slovenskem portalu za zmenke Ona-on.com, in sicer razlike med spoloma v dolžini oglasov, načinu samopredstavitve, želji po družini ter vplivu višine dosežene izobrazbe pri določanju kriterijev, kakšnega partnerja oziroma kakšno partnerko si uporabniki/-ce želijo spoznati. Vzorec vsebuje 100 oglasov, in sicer 50 moških ter 50 ženskih profilov. Profili so bili analizirani avgusta 2022, ko sta bila na portalu ustvarjena tudi moški in ženski profil.

Title:Alternative ways of finding partners: analysis of dating ads : magistrsko delo
Abstract:
The development of the Internet and its arrival in our households in the 90s turned our lives upside down, so to speak. The many changes it brought and the resulting ever-increasing digitization also covered the way of getting to know partners. The development of web portals and apps meant, at least in theory, that it was easier to meet partners for people who in the real world have a problem approaching someone they like, and often also an additional option for those who have no problems with this in everyday life. However, this type of meeting other people also meant the creation of new identities, a greater importance of self-presentation, and most probably also changes in the sphere of intimacy. The master thesis analytically describes the characteristics of advertisements on the largest Slovenian dating portal Ona-on.com, namely the differences between the sexes in the length of the advertisements, the way of self-presentation, the desire for a family, and the influence of the level of education achieved in regards to determining the criteria for the kind of partner users want to meet. The sample contains 100 advertisements, 50 men and 50 women profiles. The profiles were analyzed in August 2022, when a male and a female profile was also created on the portal.
