Abstract
Doktorsko delo podrobno predstavi delovanje muslimanskih skupnosti v Republiki Sloveniji, muslimane v Sloveniji in njihovo versko prakso. Te na podlagi oblikovane tipologije razdeli na dosledne, kulturne in obrobne vernike. Nadalje izpostavi, v katerih segmentih prihaja do izginjanja, spreminjanja in prilagajanja verske prakse in poskuša obrazložiti, kako je sekularizacija muslimanov v Sloveniji povezana z družinsko tradicijo, versko vzgojo, različnimi generacijami priseljencev in vplivom slovenskega okolja. V sklepnem delu naredimo kratko primerjavo muslimanov v Sloveniji z drugimi evropskimi muslimani ter pojasnimo enkratnost muslimanov v Sloveniji.

Title:Religious practice of Muslims in Slovenia
Abstract:
The dissertation details the functioning of Muslim communities in the Republic of Slovenia, Muslims in Slovenia and their religious practices. Based on a typology, they are divided into consistent, cultural and marginal believers. It also highlights the segments where religious practice disappears, changes, and adapts, and attempts to explain how the secularization of Muslims in Slovenia is related to family tradition, religious upbringing, different generations of immigrants, and the influence of the Slovenian environment. In the concluding part, a brief comparison of Muslims in Slovenia with other European Muslims is made and the uniqueness of Muslims in Slovenia is explained.
