This undergraduate thesis examines Giovanni Gentile, his philosophy, political philosophy and his role in the fascist regime. This is followed by a short assessment of the philosophy of fascism in practice and a brief presentation of the functioning of fascism on Slovenian soil. At the end there is an answer to the question of whether Giovanni Gentile can rightly be called a "philosopher of fascism".
