Armenia or The Republic of Armenia is a country in the Caucasus region, bordering Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran. Its history goes back thousands of years and is marked by suffering, wars and genocides. In its history, it was often ruled by foreign authorities, e.g. Byzantines, Persians, Russians, etc. But despite this, Armenia preserves its culture.
