The idea for this thesis arose from a very practical need of the current slovene lexicography: the need to link linguistic data from different resources and combine them into bigger, more complex and more detailed data network(s). The work was done involving two main sources: the general dictionary of slovene langauage (SSKJ 2) and the dictionary of synonymes of the slovene language (SSSJ). While the general dictionary puts to the forefront the meaning, definition and explanation, the dictionary of synonymes analyses and systematises the relations between different lexical units. The current task is connecting these data into a bigger unit, and whilst a part of the process was performed automatically, there is still a big portion left to be done manually. Some of these data (a list of entries with a referential definition glagolnik od X, 'gerund of X') were connected as a part of the work for this thesis; the process of connecting the data is presented in the text.
