Abstract
V sklopu diplomske naloge je bila oblikovana nova vizualna identiteta Zavetišča za živali Maribor. Primarni cilj za razvoj vizualne identitete je upoštevanje finančnih omejitev zavetišča. V postopku razvoja nove vizualne identitete je bil najprej oblikovan razpoznavni znak. Njegova končna verzija je minimalistična in geometrična. Sledila je določitev barve. Končna izbira je kombinacija tople oranžne in hladne rjave. Po določitvi oblike in barve je bilo treba določiti novi črkovni vrsti za vizualno identiteto. Zaradi cenovne dostopnosti sta obe odprto licenčni. Po oblikovanju teh osnovnih elementov je sledilo apliciranje le-teh na tiskovine, ki so potrebne za zavetišče. Ustvarjene so bile tako za tiskane kot spletne vsebine ter so poenotene in kolektivno cenovno varčne. Ves proces razvoja nove vizualne identitete je stremel k čim bolj cenovno in časovno varčnim rešitvam.

Title:Designing the visual identity of Zavetišče za živali Maribor
Abstract:
As part of my Bachelor’s degree, a new visual identity for Zavetišče za živali Maribor was created. The primary goal for the development of it is to take into account the financial limitations of the shelter. In the process of developing a new visual identity, the logo was first designed. Its final version is minimalist and geometric. A color selection followed. The final choice is a combination of warm orange and cool brown. After deciding on the shape and color, it was necessary to determine a new typeface. For the sake of affordability, both typefaces are openly licensed. After designing these basic elements, what followed was applying them to the print media needed for the shelter. They have been created for both print and online content, and are unified and collectively cost-effective. The whole process of developing a new visual identity strived for the most cost-effective and time-saving solutions.
