Postajališča v filmih ceste : diplomsko delo

V okviru diplomske naloge se bom ukvarjala z raziskovanjem filmov ceste, pri katerih me bodo najbolj zanimala predvsem postajališča na teh potovanjih, kot so razne zajtrkovalnice, bencinske črpalke, obcestni moteli in podobno. Le-ti so prav tako nepogrešljiv del filmov ceste kot cesta sama. Zanimalo me bo, kakšno vlogo imajo v poteku dogajanja in kako bistveni so lahko za razvoj odnosov in zgodbe. Pri opisu in razmišljanju o postajališčih si bom najbolj pomagala predvsem s koncepti liminalnega in nekrajev.

• Title: Stopping places in road movies

Abstract

As a part of my diploma thesis, I will mainly be researching road films. I will be most interested in the stopping places on these trips, such as various diners, gas stations, roadside motels, and so on. These are just as important parts of road movies as the road itself. I was interested in what role they play in the course of events and how essential they can be for the development of relationships and stories. In describing and thinking about stopping places I will mainly be working with the concepts of liminal and non-places.
