Odnos medicinskih sester do ljudi z motnjami v duševnem zdravju : diplomsko delo

Uvod: Dobro duševno zdravje je ključnega pomena za kakovost življenja vseh ljudi. Medicinske sestre imajo pomembno vlogo pri obravnavni ljudi z motnjami v duševnem zdravju, saj z njimi preživijo največ časa. Njihov odnos vpliva na oskrbo in zdravljenje ljudi. Namen: Namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti, odnos medicinskih sester do ljudi z motnjami v duševnem zdravju. Metode dela: V diplomskem delu je bila uporabljena deskriptivna metoda dela, s pregledom strokovne in znanstvene literature. Za iskanje literature smo uporabili časovni okvir od leta 2012 do 2022. Iskanje literature je potekalo s pomočjo podatkovnih baz Medline/Pubmed, Google učenjak in ScienceDirect v slovenskem in angleškem jeziku. Obdobje iskanja literature je potekalo od marca 2022 do avgusta 2022. Za analizo rezultatov smo uporabili 8 enot literature, ki je ustrezala vključitvenim kriterijem. Rezultati: S pregledom literature smo ugotovili, da je odnos medicinskih sester do ljudi motnjami v duševnem zdravju negativen. Dejavniki, ki na to vplivajo so klinične izkušnje, delovna doba, dosežena stopnja izobrazbe, usposabljanje in izobraževanje na delovnem mestu. Razprava in zaključek: Za medicinske sestre je pomembno, da ne stigmatizirajo ljudi z motnjami v duševnem zdravju ampak jih podpirajo, izražajo empatijo in razvijajo pozitiven odnos.

• Title: Attitude of nurses towards people with mental health disorders : diploma work

Abstract

Introduction: Good mental health is important to the quality of life of all people. Nurses play an important role in the treating of patients with mental health disorders, as they spend the most time with them. Their attitude can affects patients care. Purpose: The purpose of the diploma work is to present the attitude of nurses towards patients with mental health disorders. Methods: In the diploma work we used a descriptive method with a review of profesional and scientific literature. The critical period of the literature search was from March 2022 to August 2022. The literature was searched in the database Medline/PubMed, Google Schoolar and ScienceDirect in Slovene and English language. For the analysis we used 8 articles that met the inclusion criteria. Results: Our results showed that the nurse's attitudes towards patients with mental health disorders were negative. Factors influencing nurse's attitudes are clinical experience, years of service, achieved level of education, and job traning. Discussion and conclusion: It is important for nurses not to stigmatize patients with mental health disorders but to support them, express empathy and develop a positive attitude.
