Abstract
Zanimale so jo spremembe namembnosti stavbe in možnosti revitalizacije v prihodnosti.

Title:Manor Plevna: Revitalization of manor Plevna as ethnological and cultural-anthropological challenge
Abstract:
The main object of research is manor Plevna, which is located in the middle of the forrest, on top of a flat hill, north of the town of Žalec. In the thesis, the author presents manor Plevna with it's surroundings and the events in it from it's creation through selected time periods to the present day. She was particulary interested in the period after the Second World War, when there was a change of ownership, from private to public ownership and later to shared ownership between the municipality of Žalec and baroness Elizabeth Wildburg from Vienna through a long denationalisation process. The author was interested in changes in the purpose of the building and the possibility of revitalisation in the future. In the thesis, she also aims to highlight the difficult situation in the field of cultural heritage protection, especially large and once privilged settlement units, which have increasingly lost their once visible economic and cultural significance since the second half of the 20th century. The research is based on archive sources, existing literature and informations the author obtained. With the research she wants to draw attention to the importance of cultural heritage, the attitude of society and people to this day strongly degraded such and similair remnants of the economz and culture from the past and especially to find opportunities for revitalisation of the manor and its area.
