In this diploma thesis, we analysed the surveying services provided as part of the legalisation of several illegal constructions. The particularity of the study case is the larger area of consideration, which is divided into individual land plots, all of which were owned or managed by the City Municipality of Ljubljana and are located in Tomačevo. The objective was to find out whether more surveying procedures for cadastral (re)arranging of land plots are needed to solve such a problem. In addition to the analysis of the cadastral procedures, we also reviewed and described the applicable legislation during the various periods of legalizations. We also reviewed and described the news and other media publications that accompanied the legalisation throughout the entire period and give a unique view of what is happening. By analysing the cadastral procedures in the studies, we confirmed our assumption about the use of several procedures for cadastral (re)arranging plots in larger areas with illegal buildings.
