The final seminar paper covers the Rakičan manor near Murska Sobota. The paper chronologically outlines the development and changes of the manor from its first mentions to the present day. The main focus is on the period of the Hungarian noble family Batthyány, which owned and managed the estate for the most extended period and is also responsible for its present appearance. The manor represents one of the rare examples of profane baroque architecture in Prekmurje and once a strategically important facility and landmark that is often forgotten today.
