The openness, subjectivity and limitlessness of what has been written, can be felt when reading through discussed topics, which flow between areas of sound, art and design with an ideological basis drawn from impressions of the karst landscape and through the research of the Karst as a geographical area with its characteristics, as well as diverse philosophical anthropological views on the topics.
All these components find a common denominator in the practical part of the thesis, using cues from musical acoustics with the aim of designing a ceramic sound installation that will be powered by the wind energy to produce sound. Connections between human – sonic instrument and nature – sonic instrument are questioned and compared, finding a way in the ritual as an art form binding all this components. The whole as an organism comes to life when it resonates through a three-dimensional intermediary, the visual part of the final installation.
