Abstract

Title:
The message of Gal Bill's virtual poetry through portraits
Abstract:
The diploma thesis, titled The message of Gal Billa’s virtual poetry through portraits, describes how the Covid-19 pandemic affected people’s mental state, how it divided people among themselves, and how this manifests itself in society. The goal of the final work was to design a series of posters which would inform and warn the general public about the rapidly degrading mental health that occurred in society during the Covid-19 pandemic. The visual image of the posters illustrates the changed psychological state of individuals who were most affected by the consequences of the changes in the way of living, while in contrast, the substantive message with emphasized typographical solutions instills optimism, evokes feelings of security, equality, peace and tries to create an atmosphere where people feel heard.
