V diplomski nalogi je predstavljen problem vodnih izgub. Predstavljeni so negativni vplivi prekomernih vodnih izgub. Poudarek je na analizi in reševanju problema. Predstavljena je izdelava vodne bilance, oblikovanje merilnih območij in različni načini ukrepanja. Predstavljeni so računalniški programi in sistemi, ki so v pomoč javnim podjetjem s področja oskrbe z vodo. V praktičnem delu diplomske naloge je uporabljen teoretični del za analizo območja Škofje Loke.

Abstract

The diploma thesis discusses the problem of water losses and the negative impacts of excessive water losses. The focus is on analysing and solution to the problem. Presented are the elaboration of a water balance, the creation of district metered areas and different measures of water loss reduction. Additionally, computer programs and systems that help water supply companies are presented. In the practical part of the thesis, the theoretical knowledge is applied to analyse the water supply system of the municipality of Škofja Loka.
