Abstract
V okviru zaključne naloge smo izdelali merilni sistem za kontrolo premera filamenta med procesom ekstruzije. Opredelili smo postopek ekstruzije in pojasnili, kako lahko s pomočjo usklajenega delovanja merilnega in vlečnega sistema nadzorujemo premer ekstrudiranega filamenta. Skonstruirali smo merilnik s Hallovim senzorjem in izdelali ustrezen program za kontrolo premera filamenta. Merilni sistem smo s pomočjo etalonov in ustrezne programske opreme umerili, določili standardni odklon meritev in standardno merilno negotovost. Z merilnikom smo opravili nekaj testnih meritev in jih ustrezno analizirali. Pri analizi meritev smo zaznali izrazit šum v signalu in ugotovili, da izmerjene vrednosti na določenih odsekih v merilnem območju preveč odstopajo od dejanske vrednosti. V skladu z ugotovljenim smo predlagali potrebne izboljšave, ki bi omogočile dejansko uporabo merilnega sistema za kontrolo premera filamenta med procesom ekstruzije.

Title:On-machine measurement of extruded filament diameter
Abstract:
filament diameter during the extrusion process. We defined the extrusion process and explained how the diameter of the extruded filament can be controlled by the combined action of the measuring and puller system. We have constructed a Hall effect sensor measuring instrument and developed a suitable program to control the filament diameter. The measuring system was calibrated using benchmarks and suitable software, the standard deviation of the measurements and the standard uncertainty of the measurements were determined. Some test measurements were made with the measuring instrument and analysed accordingly. When analysing the measurements, we detected a significant noise in the signal and found that the measured values deviated too much from the actual value at certain sections in the measuring range. Accordingly, we have proposed the necessary improvements to enable the measurement system to be actually used to control the filament diameter during the extrusion process.
