Abstract
V zaključni nalogi smo s ciljem zmanjšanja teže in števila sestavnih delov generativno oblikovali in s selektivnim laserskim taljenjem izdelali tečaj vrat avtomobila. Uvodoma je podan pregled teoretičnih osnov selektivnega laserskega taljenja in generativnega oblikovanja. Predstavljen je postopek generativnega oblikovanja v programskem orodju Fusion 360. Končni izdelek smo ovrednotili in preizkusili na avtomobilu. Z generativnim oblikovanjem smo zmanjšali lastno težo tečaja s 639 g na 91 g in zmanjšali število sestavnih delov s šest na dva.

Title:Generative design and fabrication of the car door hinge by selective laser melting
Abstract:
In additive manufacturing technologies, products are built up layer by layer, giving designers a great deal of designing options. When designing models with the goal of reducing weight or improving the functional properties of products, generative design is increasingly being used. In the present work, with the goal of reducing the weight and number of components, a car door hinge was generatively designed and fabricated by selective laser melting. In the introduction, an overview of the theoretical basis of selective laser melting and generative design is given. The generative design process in the Fusion 360 software tool is presented. The fabricated part was evaluated and tested on a car. Generative design enabled reducing the weight of the car door hinge from 639 g to 91 g and reducing the number of components from six to two.
