The thesis presents an illustrated book, a modern version of Little Red Riding Hood. Compared to the classic story, there is a twist at the end of the story. We sketched the main and side characters but also backgrounds with digital media.
In the theoretical part, we presented a definition of illustration, its influence on the child and the child development process through observation and perception of illustrations, as well as a history of illustration. In the experimental process, we developed the basic story of Little Red Riding Hood in our unique way, which includes abstract two-dimensional backgrounds and detailed figures, as well as added text to the illustrations. It also describes the process of digitally editing the final product with vector and raster graphics.
