The thesis presents a project for the development of a control system for the Grosuplje railway station. The aim of the thesis is to describe the complete system and its operation and the development of the control system in an understandable way for the reader.
At the beginning of the thesis I explain the basic concepts necessary to understand the development of my project. I also describe the whole railway station and all the systems in it to give the reader an idea of the objectives of the control system. I continue by describing all the software and hardware used. Here the reader is introduced to the various programs that will be mentioned several times throughout the thesis. In the last part, I take the reader through the complete design of the control system. I present the preparation of signals, the editing of various files, the configuration of the system, the animation of the elements on the graphical user interfaces and their overall composition.
