Abstract
Tehnologija veriženja blokov in posledično vse, kar je povezano s to tehnologijo, predstavlja vedno večje zanimanje v svetu. Eno od podjetij, ki pozna to tehnologijo že od njenih začetkov, je tudi podjetje s kratico TH, s katerim sodelujem. V diplomskem delu je predstavljeno podjetje in njegovo delovanje (opis tehnologije veriženja blokov in z njo povezane tehnologije, delovanje procesa rudarjenja, načini rudarjenja itd.) in opisuje poslovno-ekonomski vidik, kjer so zajete vse prednosti poslovanja na Švedskem v primerjavi s poslovanjem v Sloveniji. Predstavljena je izvedba večletnega projekta, pri katerem sem tudi sam prisoten že od samih začetkov. Prvi del diplomske naloge je tehnični vidik, ki do podrobnosti opisuje potrebno nadgradnjo obstoječega objekta za neprekinjeno obratovanje centra za rudarjenje. Sem sodijo celotna nova električna infrastruktura, novi vodniki, nove inštalacije, ureditev stikališča na transformatorski postaji, povezava do glavnih razdelilnih omar, ki napajajo več manjših elektro omar. Poleg infrastrukture je podrobneje predstavljena tudi strojna oprema, ki se uporablja za namen rudarjenja. V drugem delu predstavim delovanje nadzornih sistemov, kot je monitoring za center rudarjenja in pojasnim, kako zagotoviti učinkovitost pri rudarjenju. Sem sodijo števci za porabo električne energije, nadzor rudarjenja, nadzor temperature v objektu ... Dotaknem se tudi migracije iz čisto internega nadzornega operacijskega sistema Unbuntu-Linux na komercialno platformo Minerstatt. Narejen je pregled energetske učinkovitosti, v katero sodi izraba toplotne energije, ki jo računalniki oddajajo pri svojem obratovanju in jo teoretično opredelimo kot izgube energije. Čisto na koncu pa je narejena obsežnejša analiza z izračuni profitabilnosti različne strojne opreme, glede na različne razmere v komunikacijskem omrežju.

Title:Establishment of a mining center in Sweden
Abstract:
The diploma thesis presents blockchain technology and everything related to this technology which represents an ever-increasing interest in the world. One of the companies that got to know the technology early on is the company with the initials TH, with which I cooperate. The thesis presents the company and its operations (description of blockchain technology and related technologies, operation of the mining process, methods of mining, etc.) and describes the business-economic aspect which covers all the advantages of doing this business in Sweden compared to doing business in Slovenia . The implementation of a multi-year project in which I myself have been present since the very beginning is presented. The first part of the thesis is the technical aspect, which describes in detail the necessary upgrade of the existing facility for the continuous operation of the mining center. This includes a completely new electrical infrastructure, new conductors, new installations, arrangement of the switchgear at the transformer station, connection to the main distribution cabinets that supply several smaller electrical cabinets. In addition to the infrastructure, the hardware used for the purpose of mining is also presented in more detail. In the second part I present the operation of control systems such as mining center monitoring, and explain how to ensure efficiency in mining. This includes counters for electricity consumption, mining control, facility temperature control... I also touch on the migration from a purely internal control operating system Unbuntu-Linux to the Minerstatt commercial platform. An overview of energy efficiency is made, which includes the use of thermal energy emitted by computers during their operation, which is theoretically defined as energy loss. At the very end, a more extensive analysis is made with profitability calculations of different hardware for different time periods according to different conditions in the communication network.
