Primeri dobre prakse na področju rejništva v evropskih državah : diplomsko delo

V svojem diplomskem delu sem raziskovala primere dobre prakse na področju rejništva v evropskih državah. V teoretičnem delu sem predstavila razlike in podobnosti med matično ter rejniško družino. Predstavila sem področje rejništva, kako je to urejeno v Sloveniji in kakšna je vloga socialnega dela v sistemu rejništva. Nadaljevala sem s primeri dobre prakse v evropskih državah na treh področjih, in sicer istospolno usmerjeni pari kot rejniki, otroci z ovirami v rejništvu in rejništvo starih ljudi. S primerjalno analizo, ki sem jo naredila v empiričnem delu, sem želela izvedeti, kakšno vrsto usposabljanja za delo z otroki z ovirami v rejniškem sistemu imamo pri nas in kakšno je v drugih evropskih državah. Zanimalo me je tudi, kako so v Sloveniji v sistem rejništva vključene istospolne družine /pari v primerjavi z ureditvami na tem področju v tujini. Želela pa sem tudi ugotoviti, ali bi lahko bil model dobre prakse rejništva starih ljudi iz drugih evropskih držav alternativa oskrbe za stare v Sloveniji. Izbrano gradivo sem pregledala in preverila, če njihova vsebina ustreza kriteriju dobre prakse, ki sem ga določila s pomočjo dela Vesne Leskošek: Koncepti socialnega dela med teorijo in prakso. Ustrezne primere dobre prakse sem primerjala z ureditvami na tem področju v Sloveniji. Prišla sem do ugotovitve, da pri nas nimamo specializiranega rejništva in dodatnih specializiranih usposabljanj za rejnike in da je rejništvo otrok z ovirami pri nas slabo raziskano. Ugotovila sem tudi, da velikih razlik med vključevanjem istospolno usmerjenih parov v sistem rejništva v tujini in pri nas ni. Največje spremembe pri nediskriminatorni obravnavi so prinesle spremembe v zakonu. Spoznala sem tudi, da bi rejništvo starih ljudi lahko bila alternativna veja oskrbe za stare v Sloveniji.

• Title: Examples of Good Practices in the Field of Foster Care in European Countries

Abstract

In my Graduation thesis I researched examples of good practices in the field of foster care in European countries. In theoretical part, I presented the differences and similarities between the biological and foster family. I presented the field of foster care, how it is regulated in Slovenia and what the role of social work is in the foster care system. I continued with examples of good practice in European countries in following fields: samesex couples as foster parents, kids with disabilities in foster care and foster care for older persons. In the empirical part I conducted comparative analysis. I explored what type of training we have for foster parents who foster children with disabilities in Slovenia in other European countries. I was also interested in how same-sex families/couples are included in the foster care system in Slovenia compared to arrangements in this field abroad. I also wanted to find out whether the example of good practice of older persons in foster care could be an alternative care for elderly in Slovenia. I reviewed the collected research material and checked if their content meets the criteria of good practice, determined by Vesna Leskošek's work: Concepts of Social Work between Theory and Practice. I compared examples of good practice that meet the criteria with regulations on the same field in Slovenia. I came to the conclusion that we do not have specialized foster care and additional specialized training for foster parents and that foster care for children with disabilities in our country is poorly researched. I also found out that there are no visible differences between integration of samesex couples in Slovenia and other European countries. Changes in the law have brought the biggest changes to non-discriminatory treatment. I came to the conclusion that the foster care for older persons could be an alternative care for elderly in Slovenia.
