Abstract
V empiričnem delu sem opravila intervjuje s sošolkami in sošolcem, ki sem jih nato kvalitativno analizirala s postopkom odprtega in osnega kodiranja.

Title:Social Work Students about their Experiences in Intimate Partnerships.
Abstract:
In my bachelor's thesis, I focused on intimate partnerships (hereinafter partnership) of the students in their 4th year at the Faculty of Social Work. I was interested in how students function in their partnerships, how they see their roles, how they communicate and resolve conflicts and how they use their knowledge of social work within their partnerships. In the theoretical part, I described the concept of a partnership, defined several types of a partnership and discussed the partnership roles. Afterwards, I defined the terms of infatuation and love and then continued with communication and conflict resolution. I also described the attachment styles during childhood and adulthood. Finally, I provided the advantages and obstacles in a partnership, where one of the partners is employed in a helping profession. In the empirical part, I conducted interviews with my classmates, which I qualitatively analysed by the process of coding (open and axial). On the basis of the data I obtained, I formed results and conclusions. I found out that social work students perceive their partnerships and roles differently, and they also function differently in their partnerships. Some students communicate and resolve problems with their partners more constructively, others less so. However, the majority agree that the knowledge of social work gained at the Faculty of Social Work is helpful in their private life and positively impacts their partnership.
