Abstract
V magistrskem delu je obravnavana optimizacija velikosti senzibilnega hranilnika toplote za daljinske sisteme ogrevanja s pomočjo simulacijskega orodja TRNSYS. V sklopu naloge smo izvedli postavitev simulacijskega modela v orodju TRNSYS, katerega smo kasneje s pomočjo eksperimentalnih podatkov tudi validirali. S pomočjo validiranega simulacijskega modela smo izvedli več simulacij toplotnega odziva in učinkovitosti delovanja hranilnikov toplote različnih velikosti v sistemu daljinskega ogrevanja v Lenartu. Dobljene rezultate simulacij pri različnih velikostih hranilnikov toplote smo ovrednotili in med seboj primerjali preko različnih kazalnikov. S pomočjo kazalnikov smo določili optimalno velikost hranilnika toplote za omenjen sistem v Lenartu in pokazali, kaj se zgodi, če v sistem vgradimo prevelik hranilnik toplote.

Title:Optimizing the size of the heat storage tank for the district heating system using the TRNSYS simulation program
Abstract:
The master's thesis deals with the optimization of the size of the sensible heat storage tank for district heating systems using the simulation tool TRNSYS. As part of the task, we set up a simulation model in the TRNSYS tool, which was later validated with the help of experimental data. With the help of a validated simulation model, we carried out several simulations of the thermal response and the efficiency of heat storage tanks of different sizes in the district heating system in Lenart. The obtained simulation results for different sizes of heat storage tanks were evaluated and compared with each other using various indicators. With the help of indicators, we determined the optimal size of the heat storage tank for the mentioned system in Lenart and showed what happens if an oversized heat storage tank is installed in the system.
