Every year, professors at the university meet with a large number of students, to whom they will be mentors in preparing a diploma thesis. This requires a lot of time, dedication and effort from the professor to guide, help and advise the student properly. Both, student and professor use different communication tools, either different e-mail clients or other accessible platforms. In order to unify and centralize the communication between professor and student, I made a Planner application as the product of my thesis. Planner is an online application that simplifies communication between student and mentor. It also enables the latter to have a better overview of all the students who complete the thesis under his supervision. To create the platform, I used the Vue.js framework on the front-end, while the back-end and API are made with the Laravel PHP framework and the MYSQL database.
