Employees are the essence of any organization. They are the key to success and effectivenes itself. Because we spend most of our time in our workplace, it is very important that we feel satisfied and that we do our work with pleasure. To determine whether employees are satisfied with their wokplace and to what extent, it is necessary to do a research. With that intention we decided to do our thesis, it was our goal to figure out the satisfaction of employees in their workplace. In the theoretical part of our thesis we will describe the concept of satisfaction overall, employee satisfaction in their workplace, history of satisfactional reserch, motivational theory and factors needed most for satisfaction. In the empirical part we will present and analyze. We will also test the given hypotheses and give some recommendations for improvement. The reserch was done with help of questionnaire with the topic of employee satisfaction. The purpose of the research was to figure put whch factors employees are most and least happy with and which factor they think is most important for workplace satisfaction. The reserch found that employees are generyllysatisfied with their workplace. Employee relathionship and working hours were among the most valued factors of satisfaction. They were least satisfied with the factor of employee reward factor.
