Abstract
Vse države Evropske unije na različne načine spodbujajo prevajanje nacionalne literature v tuje jezike. Za jasen pregled nad podporo, ki jo evropske države namenijo tovrstnemu literarnemu prevajanju, moramo vedeti, kakšni so formalni okvirji za delovanje, torej ali zanje skrbijo ustrezne službe kulturnega ministrstva ali to vlogo prevzamejo nacionalne agencije. So to morda kake druge ustanove?

Title:
European National Institutions for the Promotion of Literary translations
Abstract:
All countries of the European Union support the translation of national literature into foreign languages in various ways. For a clear overview of the support European countries devote to such literary translations, we are obliged to know the formal frameworks that make the operations possible. Are they taken care of by the appropriate services of the Ministry of Culture or is this role taken on by national agencies? Is the role taken on by different kinds of institutions? How does that differ among European countries? We are obliged to know the basis of decisions made towards literary translations and money intended for support. Awareness of the pros and cons of separate decisions is useful.
