Abstract
Ideja diplomske naloge je bila raziskati možnosti uporabe nadgrajene QR kode. V ta namen je bila zasnovana prototipna QR koda, ki poleg osnovnih informacij vsebuje še barvno kodirano informacijo o temperaturi. Predlagana "pametna'' QR koda ima na sredini barvno področje, katerega barva nosi dodatno informacijo, ki jo lahko z ustreznim čitalnikom prepoznamo in ovrednotimo. To barvno področje lahko kasneje realiziramo s temperaturno odvisnimi pigmenti. Poleg tega pa je bil razvit tudi sistem za branje take QR kode. Bralnik je bil zasnovan na osnovi mikroprocesorskega sistema ESP32-CAM. Ta s pomočjo vgrajenega vmesnika za kamero zajema sliko ter na njej poišče QR kodo, ki jo nato dekodira. Za osnovo je bila uporabljena programska knjižnica ESP32QRCodeReader, ki vsebuje osnovne funkcionalnosti za dekodiranje vzorcev QR kode. To knjižnico pa je bilo potrebno nadgraditi s sposobnostjo razpoznave barvnega dela QR kode. Sistemu smo dodali še nekatere druge elemente, kot so LED osvetlitev, baterijsko napajanje, zaslon ter ohišje, da smo dobili ročni bralnik. Drugi del sistema pa je preprost strežnik na osnovi mini računalnika Raspberry Pi. Njegova naloga je, da sprejema podatke, ki jih prek brezžične povezave pošilja ročni bralnik QR kode, ter shranjevanje teh podatkov za morebitno kasnejšo obdelavo.

Title:Development and detection of smart QR code
Abstract:
The idea of this thesis is to explore the possibilities of usage of the upgraded QR code. For this purpose, a prototype QR code, including color coded temperature information next to the basic data, was designed. This "smart'' QR code includes a colored middle part, whose color represents additional data, that can be recognized and evaluated using a suitable scanner. This color coded area can later be actualized using temperature dependant pigments. In addition, a suitable reading system for such QR code was designed. The scanner bases on ESP32-CAM microprocessor system. With the embedded camera interface a picture is captured, processed and QR code is decoded. The basis for this operation is in the software library ESP32QRCodeReader, that includes basic functionalities for QR code patterns decoding. This library had to be upgraded with the colored QR code recognition ability. Some additional components, such as LED illumination, battery supply, display and plastic housing were added to create a handheld scanner device. The second part of the system is a simple server, based on the single board computer Raspberry Pi. Its task is to receive data wirelessly, sent from the handheld device, and to store it for future processing.
