Abstract

Title:
Reproduction of gender inequalities in the example of Slovenian folk music
Abstract:
Slovenian folk music has been through changes in its history, but only one change happened that majorly influenced its message distribution. Mass-production that effects its products' quantity pushed Slovenian folk music to a zone where the quality decreased and the popularity increased. The side effect of this change happened in lyrics of the songs that started to involve sexist language. Excuse used for this was that the authors wanted for this genre to be fun and popular more than of quality.
