Abstract
Merjenje tresljajev je pomemben del zagotavljanja pravilnega delovanja naprav in varnosti ljudi, predstavlja pa nam lahko tudi podatek o uporabi določenega objekta, v našem primeru košarkarskega koša. Razvili smo spletno aplikacijo, s pomočjo katere bodo lahko uporabniki preverili zasedenost košarkarskih igrišč. Glavno oviro nam je predstavljala otežena dostopnost do električne energije, kar je krojilo večino izbir v procesu razvoja. S pomočjo meritev tresljajev in testiranja različnih pospeškomerov smo izbrali najbolj primerno mesto montaže naše naprave na tablo koša ter najprimernejše šok stikalo, z meritvami napetosti na referenčnem uporu pa smo potrdili preračune porabe ter polnjenja baterije s sončno celico.

Title:Identification of occupancy of basketball courts based on vibration measurements
Abstract:
Vibration measurement represents an important step in ensuring optimal machine operation and safety of their operators, furthermore, it can enable the collection of data about the use of a particular object, in our case a basketball hoop. We developed a web application informing users of a basketball court occupancy. Our main challenge was minimising the energy consumption as it is not readily available on top of basketball boards, which influenced most of the design process. By recording vibration and testing different accelerometers we decided on the most optimal mounting point for our device on the board and the most suitable shock switch. Moreover, consumption measurements confirmed our preliminary calculations and showed, that our devices should work uninterrupted throughout the year.
