Author profiling is an interdisciplinary research field which enables a better understanding of the actual state of Slovene public discourse. In the present paper corpus methods are used to analyse the linguistic characteristics of various profiles of speakers included in the public discourse of the corpus of spoken Slovene Gos (men, women, seniors, the young, higher and lower education). The results of frequency analysis show that the differences
between the individual speaker profiles are minimal. On the other hand, the analysis of key morphosyntactic tags and key lemmas reveals important, even stereotypical differences between the analysed speaker profiles.
