Abstract

Abstract:
With the advent of modern technologies and new forms of communication, the apperance of classic and formerly traditional media (newspapers, TV, first news websites) began to change. The latter also applies to the headlines of such texts, which are the mail subject of this research. The analysis covered headlines of media texts published in the period between 2003 and 2017, which amounts to 10,899 headlines. The identified dynamic of media reporting through headlines can be observed via different realisations that are explained in the article from a linguistic and criminological perspective.
