The culture in the first half of the 1960s was decisively marked by the magazine Perspektive (Perspectives, 1960-1964), especially by its socially critical essays, as well as the literature it published. The role of Perspektive and its critique of the one-party regime has been well represented and researched, while published literary works, apart from drama, have been explored in only a fragmentary way and within the oeuvres of individual authors. The paper will introduce some mayor findings regarding published poetry and analyse its dimension and concepts of the »Perspectives cultural circle«.
