Abstract
Čustveno inteligentnost lahko opredelimo kot spodobnost prepoznavanja lastnih čustev in čustev drugih, sposobnost osebnega motiviranja in obvladovanja čustev v nas samih in v odnosih z drugimi. Preučevanju obstoja in vpliva čustvene inteligentnosti na zaposlene, kot tudi njenega vpliva na druge konstrukte, kot so zavzetost in pripadnost zaposlenih, se posveča vedno več pozornosti. Na področju raziskovanja pa je vse večja pozornost namenjena tudi preučevanju koncepta pripadnosti zaposlenih. Pripadnost zaposlenih lahko opredelimo kot psihološko vez, na podlagi katere se posamezni zaposleni močno identificira s cilji, vizijo in poslanstvom organizacije. Namen magistrskega dela je predstaviti koncepta čustvene inteligentnosti in pripadnosti zaposlenih. V okviru namena smo preverjali tudi predhodno zastavljane cilje, oblikovane v hipoteze. Temeljni cilji raziskovalnega dela so na podlagi pridobljenih rezultatov primerjati stopnjo čustvene inteligentnosti in pripadnosti med zaposlenimi v javnem in zasebnem šolstvu. V raziskovalnem delu magistrskega dela je bila uporabljen metoda anketiranja. Rezultati raziskave so bili pridobljeni s pomočjo vprašalnika o čustveni inteligentnosti, natančneje vprašalnika TEIQUE-SF, in vprašalnika za merjenje pripadnosti zaposlenih, natančneje OCQ vprašalnika. Glede na dani vzorec so rezultati pokazali, da ne obstajajo statistične razlike med stopnjo čustvene inteligentnosti in pripadnosti med zaposlenimi v javnem in zasebnem sektorju, natančneje v šolstvu. Na samo stopnjo čustvene inteligentnosti in pripadnosti zaposlenih spol nima statistično bistvenega vpliva, kljub temu da so glede na rezultate raziskave moški veliko bolj čustveno inteligentni kot ženske. Dokazano je bilo tudi, da sektor zaposlitve in starost anketirancev nimata vpliva na stopnjo čustvene inteligentnosti in pripadnosti zaposlenih v javnem in zasebnem šolstvu. Temeljni prispevek magistrskega dela je vpogled v možnost izboljšav v javnem in zasebnem šolstvu na področju čustvene inteligentnosti in pripadnosti zaposlenih. Rezultati magistrskega dela služijo kot dobra predispozicija za nadaljnje raziskave na temo čustvene inteligentnosti in pripadnosti zaposlenih, tako v šolstvu kot tudi širše.

Title:Analysis of the impact of emotional intelligence on the employees commitment in public and private primary education system
Abstract:
Emotional intelligence can be defined as the similarity of recognizing our own emotions and the emotions of others, the ability to personally motivate and manage emotions in ourselves and in relationships with others. The study of the existence and impact of emotional intelligence on employees, as well as its impact on other constructions, such as employee commitment and loyalty, is growing. In the field of research, increasing attention is also paid to the study of the concept of employee commitment. Employee commitment can be defined as a psychological bond based on which individual employees are strongly identified with the purpose, vision and mission of the organization. The purpose of the master's thesis is to present the concept of emotional intelligence and employee commitment. Within the purpose, we also checked the previously set goals, formed into hypotheses. Based on the obtained results, the basic goals of the research work compare the level of emotional intelligence and commitment among employees in public and private education. The survey method was used in the research part of the master's thesis. The results of the research were obtained with the help of the Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire – Short Form (TEIQUE-SF questionnaire) and the Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ). Based on this pattern, they thus showed that there are no statistical differences between emotional intelligence and commitment between employees in the public and private sectors, specifically in education. Gender does not have a statistically significant effect on employees' emotional intelligence and commitment, even though, according to research, men are much more emotionally intelligent than women. It has also been shown that the employment sector and age of respondents have no effect on the level of emotional intelligence and commitment of employees in public and private education. The basic contribution of the master's thesis is an insight into the possibility of improvements in public and private education in the field of emotional intelligence and employee commitment. The results of the master's thesis serve as a good predisposition for further research on the topic of emotional intelligence and employee commitment, both in education and beyond.
