In the bachelor's thesis we gathered data about the injection molding process, its advantages
and disadvantages, and the prerequisites for its proper use. We gathered information about
the mechanical and physical properties of the material polyamide 6 (PA6). We also collected
data about the shrinkage and warping of materials that occurs between and after the injection
molding process. The molding material was prepared according to the manufacturer’s
instructions and was then molded into a set of an experimental products. The combinations
of injection molding parameters were chosen in such a way that their influence would be
easy to determine. The dimensions of each experimental product and the moud used to make
it were measured in order to compare them. The difference between the dimensions of the
experimental product and the mold used to make it is defined as shrinkage. Different
combinations of process parameters gave us a different scale of shrinkages. The influence
on shrinkage according to each combination of injection molding parameters was explained
